Webflow Pricing in 2026: Site Plans, Workspaces and Real Costs

Webflow pricing in 2026 has two layers. A Site plan pays for one published site: Starter is free, Basic is $15 a month and Premium is $25 a month, both billed yearly. A Workspace plan pays for where you build and collaborate, and starts free. Most solo sites need a Site plan only. Every figure below was checked on Webflow's pricing page on 17 September 2026.

Site Plans vs Workspace Plans

A Site plan is bought per site and unlocks publishing: your own domain, bandwidth, pages and the CMS. A Workspace plan is bought per account and covers building: staging sites, seats, code export and client handover. Webflow's own FAQ puts it simply: every site lives inside a Workspace, and every account gets a free Workspace and a free Starter Site plan.

That split is why Webflow pricing reads as confusing. You can run a live business site on a paid Site plan inside a free Workspace, and you can pay for a Workspace without publishing anything. Any Workspace tier, free included, can hold an unlimited number of paid Site plans.

Webflow Site Plans at a Glance

Basic suits a site with no blog or collections; Premium adds the CMS and more bandwidth. Prices are per site, in USD, with tax added at checkout. Billing yearly is what Webflow's toggle describes as saving up to 40% (Webflow pricing): Basic drops from $25 to $15 a month.

Premium's bandwidth is sold in steps. On top of the base price, 100 GB in total adds $20 a month billed yearly ($30 billed monthly), and the largest step, 2.5 TB, adds $974 a month billed yearly. Webflow also lists surge protection: two consecutive months over your bandwidth limit trigger an automatic plan upgrade.

Above Premium sit the Platform plans. Team is $2,500 a month on an annual contract and bundles a site, a Workspace, Webflow Localize with 2 locales, publishing workflows and priority support. Enterprise is priced by quote.

Workspace Plans: Only If You Build for Others

Buy a paid Workspace plan when you need more staging sites, extra seats, code export or client handover tools. If you build one site for yourself, the free Starter Workspace is usually enough. Webflow sells two tracks: one for in-house teams and one for freelancers and agencies.

Seats cost extra beyond the one included: a full seat (design and admin) is $39 a month billed yearly, a limited seat (content editing and page building) is $15, and reviewers who only comment are free. Extra AI credits are $20 a month billed yearly for 2,000 a month.

One limit catches template buyers. A staged site on the free Starter Workspace is capped at 2 pages and 50 CMS items. Every Webflow template in our catalogue has 7 to 22 pages, so plan on either a paid Site plan for that site or a Core or Freelancer Workspace, which allows 300 pages per staged site.

Ecommerce Plans and Add-ons

Selling products needs an Ecommerce plan instead of a Site plan, and the cheapest one adds a transaction fee. Add-ons for analytics, testing and translation are priced separately on any paid Site plan.

Fees from Webflow's pricing page: Standard charges a 2% Webflow fee on top of Stripe or PayPal processing, and Plus and Advanced charge 0%. All three include a custom cart and checkout, and Plus adds unbranded transaction emails.

• Webflow Analyze (built-in analytics): from $9 a month billed yearly, priced by sessions.
• Webflow Optimize (A/B testing and personalisation): from $299 a month billed yearly, priced by page views.
• Localize Essential: $9 a month per locale billed yearly, up to 3 locales, with AI translation.
• Localize Advanced: $29 a month per locale billed yearly, up to 10 locales, adding localised URLs and automatic visitor routing.

What a Webflow Template Site Really Costs

For one business site built from a template and billed yearly, expect roughly $180 to $300 a year for hosting, plus the template once. The plan decides the running cost; the template is a one-off. Your domain name is not included in these figures.

Which Webflow Plan You Need

Start on the free Starter plan while you build, then pick the cheapest paid plan that covers what launch day needs. Most people only have to answer four questions.

• No blog, no collections, under 300 pages? Basic, $15 a month billed yearly.
• A blog, case studies, team or job listings? Premium, $25 a month billed yearly, for the CMS and 50 GB of bandwidth.
• Selling physical or digital products? An Ecommerce plan, starting with Standard at $29 a month billed yearly.
• Building sites for clients? A Freelancer ($16) or Agency ($35) Workspace for you, and a Site plan for each client site, ideally on the client's own card.

Cancelling has a catch: Webflow's FAQ says you can cancel a Site or Workspace plan at any time, but you still pay the remainder of the term. On a yearly plan, that means the rest of the year.

Ways to Spend Less on Webflow

The biggest saving is billing yearly once you know the site will stay up. The second is not paying for what you don't use: a Workspace plan you don't need, or Premium bandwidth steps you haven't reached.

1. Build on Starter first. Staging on a webflow.io subdomain is free, so pay for a Site plan only when you are ready to connect your domain.
2. Bill yearly after launch. Basic yearly is $180 a year against $300 billed monthly.
3. Match the plan to the content. A site with no CMS content doesn't need Premium.
4. Start from a template instead of a blank canvas. The hosting bill is the same either way; what changes is the design time. Our guide to template vs custom websites sets out when each makes sense.
5. Let clients pay their own Site plans. Freelancer and Agency Workspaces support client payments, so hosting never sits on your card.

Webflow costs nothing to build on and $15 to $25 a month, billed yearly, to publish a typical site on your own domain. Workspace plans, extra seats and add-ons only matter when you collaborate, build for clients or need analytics, testing or translation.
